The BBC's Blue Peter Presenter, Simon Thomas pays a visit to my school, when I am in Year 6 at the time, to award be a Blue Peter Badge.

Maidenhead Advertiser: "Climbing New Mountains" -Published 28-02-08

In 2007 I Completed the 46 Kilometer Inca Trail. Doing so, I managed to raise a respectable amount of money for a very special local charity, the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance. I am very confident that the money was put to good use savivng lives. In return for this, the lovely people at the Air Ambulance gave me a model of one of their helicopters in return.

Unfortunately, the photographer arrived a bit late to take my photo
for the newspaper, when I was formally presenting the cheque.
